Life is what you make it.
And I am going to make it the best I can while I am still alive and breathing.
Recap of 2012.
The Good:
I lost 52 pounds, but since Thanksgiving, I have put some pounds back on. LOL. I definitely indulged a bit. But that's okay. Next week I plan to start a strict diet and exercise regimen. One of my resolutions for 2013 is to flaunt my body in a bikini while I kayak and lay on the beach. :)
This year has been the best year for me, personally. My confidence is at its highest its ever been. And for the first time, since I do not know when, I feel like ME. And I am not afraid of ME anymore.
I've accomplished a lot of my short term bucket list goals.
Evan got a $1 raise at his job, and quit smoking for a few months.
Evan started school again to get his Engineering degree.
I made amends with family.
I have met some new and wonderful people.
Went up to New York to see my parents.
Sophia turned 2.
Sophia started talking and has taken a great interest in music.
The Bad:
I had to let some people in my life go. It was a very hard, and painful thing to do. One of them, that I thought was my best friend. No hard feelings. But it's just one of those things...people drift apart.
I thought Evan would have to look for a new job. Things have cleared and we are not as worried as we were. But it's definitely a scary feeling--especially in this kind of economy.
I only saw my parents and brother TWICE this year. Not enough, but it's better than not seeing them.
So that's basically the highlights. Such is life. Gotta take the good with the bad.
2013, I look forward to what you have in store for me and my family.
:)
